Recruitment Process For Qatar From Pakistan

Step 1: CV Screening & Initial Application

The first step in the Qatar recruitment process is submitting your CV or job application to Sony Manpower. Our experienced recruitment team reviews your qualifications, work experience, and skills to match you with the right job vacancy in Qatar. We recruit for a wide range of categories including construction workers, drivers, electricians, plumbers, welders, engineers, IT professionals, accountants, nurses, housemaids, and general labor for Qatar.

Documents required at this stage:

• Updated CV / Resume
• CNIC (National Identity Card)
• Educational certificates
• Experience certificates (if applicable)

Step 2: Trade Test / Skill Assessment

Once your CV is shortlisted, you will be called for a trade test or skill assessment at our office in Rawalpindi/Islamabad or at a designated testing center. This test verifies your professional skills and ensures you meet the requirements of the Qatari employer. For technical workers such as electricians, welders, or plumbers, a practical skills test is conducted. For office or professional roles, a written or verbal interview may be arranged directly with the Qatari employer via video call.

Step 3: Medical Fitness Test

After passing the trade test, you will be required to undergo a medical fitness examination at a Qatar Embassy-approved medical center in Pakistan. The medical test includes blood tests, chest X-ray, urine tests, and a general physical examination. Qatar requires all foreign workers to be medically fit before a work visa is issued. Medical results are submitted electronically to Qatari authorities. The entire medical process usually takes 3 to 7 days.

Common approved medical centers in Pakistan include:

• Medex (Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi)
• Clinilab
• Advance Lab
• Islamabad Diagnostic Centre (IDC)

Step 4: Visa Stamping at Qatar Embassy Islamabad

Once your medical test is cleared, Sony Manpower submits your visa application to the Embassy of Qatar in Islamabad. The Qatari employer sends a visa approval (work permit) which is linked to your passport. Your passport is then submitted to the Qatar Embassy for visa stamping. Qatar work visa stamping usually takes 7 to 20 working days depending on the visa category and current embassy workload.

Documents required for visa stamping:

• Original valid passport (minimum 6 months validity)
• Medical fitness certificate
• Work permit/visa approval from Qatar employer
• Passport-size photographs
• Educational and experience certificates (attested)

Step 5: BEOE Clearance (Bureau of Emigration)

Before departure, every Pakistani worker going abroad for employment must obtain clearance from the Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment (BEOE), also known as the Protectorate of Emigrants. This is a mandatory Government of Pakistan requirement to protect overseas workers. Sony Manpower handles the complete BEOE registration and emigration clearance process on your behalf. You will receive an Emigration Clearance stamp in your passport before departure.

Step 6: Pre-Departure Orientation & Flight Booking

Once all documentation is complete and emigration clearance is obtained, Sony Manpower arranges your flight tickets to Qatar. Before departure, we provide a pre-departure orientation briefing covering your rights as an overseas worker, Qatar labour laws, working conditions, emergency contacts in Qatar, and what to expect upon arrival at Hamad International Airport in Doha. Your Qatari employer or their representative will receive you at the airport.
