Saudi Arabia Visa Types and requirement for Pakistan

Government Visa

Requirements:

  • Original passport valid for at least six months, with a minimum of two empty visa pages.

Diplomatic & Official Visas

Requirements:

Tourist Saudi Visa

Foreign nationals from 68 countries, including Pakistan, are eligible to apply online for a Saudi electronic visa if they fulfill the following requirements:

  • Passport
  • Must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Saudi Arabia or meet the rules of reciprocity.
  • Personal Photos
  • Submit one recent color photo (2×2 inches) with a white background.
  • Photo size should be between 5 to 100 KB.
  • The photo should show natural facial expressions, with 80% of the face visible.
  • No eyeglasses or headwear, except for religious reasons.
  • Application
  • Fill out the online Saudi visa application form with personal data, passport details, and other requested information.
  • Age Requirement
  • Applicants must be over 18 years old to apply without a parent or legal guardian.

Business Visit Saudi Visa

Requirements:

  • Original passport valid for at least six months, with a minimum of two empty visa pages.

  • Non-Pakistani citizens must purchase health insurance from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Options for local health insurance providers will appear upon processing your Enjaz form.

Supporting documentation:

  • Electronic invitation letter from a Saudi company.
  • Employment verification letter by the applicant’s employer in Pakistan, addressed to the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, confirming the applicant’s position and purpose of travel.
  • Copy of the company’s business registration in Saudi Arabia and in Pakistan.
  • Additional documents may be requested if needed.
  • For non-Pakistani citizens, a copy of the residence document confirming legal residence in Pakistan.

Employment Visa

  • Original passport valid for at least six months, with a minimum of two empty visa pages.

  • Digital power of attorney from the Saudi employer generated by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • A visa referral note from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its branches in Jeddah or Dammam.
  • Original letter from the Saudi company sponsoring the applicant, certified by both the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The letter must indicate block visa number, date, position, and name of the applicant.
  • A copy of the employment contract, signed by the sponsor and the applicant, and certified by the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
  • A certified and notarized copy of the applicant’s university degree/diploma, authenticated by the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission.
  • A certified and notarized copy of the training or technical diploma authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pakistan.
  • A medical report in three copies, along with all lab results, and three passport-size colored photographs on a white background. The medical report must be issued by a licensed physician certifying the applicant is free of contagious diseases.
  • Children under the age of sixteen do not need a medical report.
  • Police report issued within six months prior to the date of application, with detailed information about the applicant’s criminal record, if any.

Residence Visa

  • Original passport valid for at least six months, with a minimum of two empty visa pages.

  • A visa referral note from the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its branches in Jeddah or Dammam.
  • Proof of kinship when accompanied by a family member: for spouses, a copy of the marriage certificate; for children, a copy of the birth certificate.
  • Age of accompanying child may not exceed eighteen years; accompanying daughters must be single.
  • For non-Pakistani citizens, a copy of the residence document confirming legal residence in Pakistan.
  • A medical report in three copies, along with all lab results, and three passport-size colored photographs on a white background.
  • Children under the age of sixteen do not need a medical report.
  • Minors (under 18 years) traveling alone, or with one parent, must submit a notarized letter in Arabic or English signed by a parent or a legal guardian.

Premium Residency Visa

The Premium Residency Center was established by a Royal decree, approved by the Council of Ministers. It is an independent administrative and financial agency associated with the Economic Affairs and Development Council. The system coordinates with all sectors and state agencies to implement the Premium Residency System, which provides a distinctive residence in Saudi Arabia through its electronic services system and direct contact with customers worldwide.

Application Instructions:

  • Apply for the Premium Visa here and follow the instructions carefully.
  • After receiving approval, bring all documents and your passport to the Saudi Embassy or nearest Saudi consulate to receive the Saudi Visa.

Newborn Visa

  • Original passport valid for at least six months, with a minimum of two empty visa pages.
  • Complete your online application here (Guidelines for Enjaz). Be sure to choose “single entry”.
  • Copy of both parents’ passports, residence cards, and exit/re-entry visas.
  • Copy of the baby’s birth certificate.

Extension of Exit/Re-Entry Visa

  • Original passport valid for at least six months, with a minimum of two empty visa pages.
  • Complete your online application and make a visa payment here (Guidelines for Enjaz). Be sure to choose “single entry”.
  • Copy of valid residence permit and copy of the last extension, if applicable.
  • Copy of family registration from the Directorate General of Passports in the Saudi city where the applicant resides. This should include complete information about the applicant.
  • Letter from the Saudi visa sponsor or consulate indicating the person is still employed and requesting extension of the re-entry visa. The letter must be notarized by a Saudi Chamber of Commerce if the sponsor is a private sector entity, or by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, if the sponsor is a government agency.
  • Spouses and children of any person working in the Kingdom should provide a letter from the principal traveler addressed to the Saudi Consulate requesting an extension of their exit/re-entry visas. The letter must be notarized by the Saudi Chamber of Commerce if the sponsor works for the private sector, or by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs if the sponsor works for a government agency.
  • Students residing outside the Kingdom for more than thirteen months must submit proof of current enrollment in school and a notarized letter from the guardian who is a resident in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Family members residing outside the Kingdom for more than 13 months and employees residing more than 6 months must provide a referral note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or its branches in Jeddah or Dammam.

Family Visit Visa

  • Original passport valid for at least six months, with a minimum of two empty visa pages.
  • Complete your online application and make a visa payment here (Guidelines for Enjaz). Health insurance must be purchased from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Options for local health insurance providers will appear upon processing your Enjaz form.

Companion Visa

Hajj/Umrah Visa

  • Complete a Saudi Hajj & Umrah visa application form.

  • Passport
  • Must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of application submission.
  • Personal Photo
  • Submit 1 recent color photo (2×2 inches) with a white background.
  • Photo should have natural facial expressions, showing 80% of the face, no eyeglasses, and no headwear (except for religious reasons).
  • Vaccination Certificate
  • Health certification against Meningococcal Meningitis, issued at least 10 days before and less than 3 years from entry into Saudi Arabia.
  • Depending on nationality, age, and health condition, other vaccinations like yellow fever, polio, and influenza may be required.
  • Proof of Relationship (for Women and Children)
  • Women and children must be accompanied by a Mahram (husband, father, or male guardian).
  • Mahram must provide proof of relationship with a marriage or birth certificate.
  • Women and children must travel on the same flights as the Mahram.
  • No-Objection Letter (for Women Traveling with a Group)
  • Women over 45 years old can perform Hajj without a male guardian if they are part of a group and have a no-objection letter from their Mahram.

  • Applicant must have a confirmed return or onward airline ticket.
